CANDLE SAFETY
When lighting and burning candles, it is important thing to remember that they have a naked flame. They need to be treated with caution and respect.
-
Always keep burning candles within your sight, and snuff out before you exit the room. Never leave a lit candle unattended.
-
Burn in a well ventilated room, but out of drafts.
-
Keep well away from flammable surfaces such as curtains and décor.
-
Keep well away from children and pets.
-
Vessels become hot when lit, so be sure to place on a level, heat resistant surface while burning.
-
Never touch or move a burning candle.
-
Do not burn your candle for longer than 4 hours in one session.
-
Using a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame, will prevent hot wax from splattering.
-
We advise not to continue to burn your candle when there is 10 mm or less remaining. A small amount of wax should remain in the bottom of the vessel, submerging the metal wick clip. This is a normal safety measure.
-
Our candles come with a safety label to ensure you are informed of correct use.
-
Always keep the wick clear of floral debris.
Please see CANDLE CARE for more on how to maximise enjoyment of your candles.
